Detroit's first full size mobile art studio
The paint bus is a real art studio on wheels. Seated on a 36 foot, renovated school bus, we can hold 30 people max but 20 people comfortably. The paint bus features several exclusive amenities including a running sink, a wine cellar with a state-of-the-art cooling system, a 4-bottle shot dispenser, chafing dishes buffet set up for up to 6 half-pans or 3 full pans of food or desserts, coat and apron hooks, heat, stool seating, bar seating for additional space for painters or non-painters, counter space for cakes, food, or beverages, and a surround sound system with Bluetooth, auxiliary, iPod, and Radio connection capabilities.

Before booking PLEASE READ:
The Paint Bus does not move while you and your party guests paint. We are NOT a party bus. Pricing is below. The price DOES NOT decrease if your guest count is less than the included painters included in the cost. Your deposit is NON REFUNDABLE and your remaining balance is due TWO DAYS before your scheduled event. Failure to pay 48 hours before your party will result in cancellation of your event and no refunds will be given. TWO days before your event, is when an INVOICE is sent for your remaining balance, your picture is picked, Guest Count given, address where bus is coming to is determined and party is confirmed. If you want to reach out to handle payment and confirmation of details before that feel free to do so, however we only reach out two days before UNLESS it’s an issue and we need to amend your booking. If you will need a place to host your party, we can assist you with picking a public park or location. If you and your guests will need the address to the public space or park you choose, call us before or after the deposit is made and we will get you the address promptly so invites can be sent out. Call or text us to do this. You can reschedule your party up to 2 times without forfeiting your deposit. Rescheduling must be done at least 3 days before your event. Please call to reschedule; do not email. At least 2 adults must be present and on bus for all children's parties. No animals allowed on bus except service animals with proper identifying clothing. We do not accept cash or same day payments for anything. Everything is paid via invoice except the deposit. That is paid below by clicking “Book Now”. To view dates we have available, click “Book Now” and our processor will take you to our calendar. You can click your desired date and time and check the availability. We DO NOT hold dates for any reason or anybody. Deposits are the only thing that holds dates. We do not move while painting. There is no pickup or drop off location. We either come to an address you provide or you meet us at a public location. Either way, patrons just board the bus and paint. We do not move while painting. Food, beverages, cake, icecream, and alcohol are welcome. Feel free to bring what you want. Please bring all the paper products as well (cups, plates, forks, etc). Smoking is permitted. Please bring your own lighter. There is no bathroom. We do not provide ice but we do provide an ice bucket with two scoopers. The Paint Bus is open 7 days a week and operates between 7a-2:30a. For parties before 9a or after 1:30a you must call to book this into our calendar. All holiday parties will be subject to a $100 upcharge. We observe all federal holidays including Christmas Eve and New Years Eve. There is a travel fee for party locations over 20 miles from our base in 48217 where our buses are station. The fee depends on the mileage. Travel fees are anywhere from $50-$250 and must be paid with remaining balance. By booking below, you’re agreeing that you’ve read and understand this information. |

Booking includes all painting supplies, 2 hours of painting time and instruction, 30 minutes for cake, games, and/or gift opening, 1 juice or water for every kid, and usage of all of our amenities. Party favor bags are $3 per kid. |
